List of Scientific Papers- Volume 1 to 8

A series of reference volumes reprints original research studies. These eight volumes collect the major scientific research studies on the Transcendental Meditation and TM-Sidhi program from the first published study in 1970 to 2015.

Each volume is printed in A4 size, in black and white, soft cover with sewn signatures. Each volume also contains a list of contents and findings of all the previous volumes, as well as a cumulative author index at the end of the volume.

• Volume 1 •

Lead Editor: David W. Orme-Johnson holds an A.B. in psychology from Columbia University (1963) and M.A. and Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Maryland (1965, 1969). He is Professor Emeritus of Psychology at Maharishi International University, where he was a founding faculty in 1972, serving as chair of the psychology department and director of its doctoral program. Dr. Orme-Johnson has over 100 publications on the effects of the Transcendental Meditation technique, having pioneered in its effects on stress reduction, prison rehabilitation, health, neurophysiological effects, cognitive abilities and on creating coherence in collective consciousness to improve the quality of life in society and world peace.

• Volume 2 to 4 •

Lead Editor: Roger Chalmers qualified in Medicine from Cambridge University in 1979, with distinctions in medicine, surgery, and therapeutics. Following postgraduate training in London, from 1982 to 1996 he pursued an enduring interest in medical applications of the Transcendental Meditation program under the auspices of Maharishi European Research University in Switzerland and the Netherlands. Dr. Chalmers co-edited Volumes 2 to 4 of Collected Papers. Under the guidance of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, he participated extensively in an international collaboration of doctors and experts in Ayurvedic health care. After further post-graduate training, he returned to full-time clinical medicine as a general practitioner in the UK until retirement in 2018.

• Volume 5 •

Lead Editor: Robert Keith Wallace is a pioneering researcher on the physiology of consciousness with his initial findings on the physiological effects of the Transcendental Meditation technique published in Science, American Journal of Physiology, and Scientific American. He received his B.S. in physics and his Ph.D. in physiology from UCLA, and he
conducted postgraduate research at Harvard University.

 

Dr. Wallace is the founding President of Maharishi International University (MIU) and has helped established graduate programs to train physicians, health professionals, and wellness consultants in Maharishi Ayurveda and Integrative Medicine. He is currently Professor and Chairman of the Department of Physiology and Health, and a Trustee of MIU.

Lead Editor: Michael Dillbeck is currently Professor Emeritus and Trustee Emeritus at Maharishi International University in Iowa, USA, and an international administrator of the Global Country of World Peace, a nonprofit organization registered in The Netherlands.
He received his Ph.D. in psychology from Purdue University in 1976.
Dr. Dillbeck has published widely on the physiological, psychological, and sociological effects of the Transcendental Meditation and TM-Sidhi program. He designed the current website.
