Enlightenment for ideal rehabilitation: Expansion of consciousness as the basis of the restoration of Creative Intelligence. The effectiveness of the Transcendental Meditation Programme for rehabilitation. Rheinweiler, W. Germany: MERU Press, 1976. Paper presented at the Third International Conference on Drug Dependency, Liverpool, England, 6 April 1976.
The authors propose that the development of enlightenment through the Transcendental Meditation program is the ideal means of rehabilitation. Scientific research on Transcendental Meditation is examined in the light of its application for the restoration of the full creative intelligence of the individual.

Department of Experimental Psychology, Maharishi European Research University, Switzerland, and Institut National de la Recherche Scientifique, Centre de Recherche en Sciences de la Santé, Université du Québec, Montréal-Gamelin, Québec, Canada, 1977.
Unusually acute hearing was found in participants in the TM sidhi program. Further increases in sensitivity of hearing were found immediately following performance of the sidhi to enhance hearing ability to its full potential.

The Science of Creative Intelligence offers fulfilment in education: Self-realization found in the simplest form of awareness—the field of all possibilities. Rheinweiler, W. Germany: MERU Press, 1977. Paper presented at the Seventh World Congress, International Association for the Advancement of Educational Research, Ghent, Belgium, July 1977.
This paper discusses the educational programs of Maharishi European Research University for unfolding the full potential of consciousness in every student, and developing a unified understanding of all fields of knowledge through the Science of Creative Intelligence and its practical aspect, the Transcendental Meditation and TM-Sidhi program. The authors propose that the implementation of this scientifically validated program in all areas of education will bring fulfillment to the goals of every system of education.

The number of months practicing the TM-Sidhi program and the clarity of TM-Sidhi experiences were associated with higher creativity and intelligence.

Increases in EEG coherence were found from an eyes-closed pre-control period to the practice of the Transcendental Meditation technique, and from the practice of Transcendental Meditation to the practice of the TM-Sidhi techniques, while a decrease was found from the practice of the TM-Sidhi techniques to a post-control period with eyes closed, indicating that the Transcendental Meditation and TM-Sidhi program increases the orderliness of neurological functioning.

EEG coherence, age-related psychological variables, and the Transcendental Meditation and TM-Sidhi Programme. Departments of Neurophysiology and Psychology, MERU Research Institute, Mentmore, Buckinghamshire, England, 1983.
This study demonstrates the importance of EEG coherence in relation to the improvements in age-related psychological variables which are known to result from the practice of the Transcendental Meditation and TM-Sidhi program, thus emphasizing the importance of neurophysiological integration in the reversal of aging.

- 1989· Empirical· Collected Papers Vol. 3Toomey, M.; Pennington, B.; Chalmers, R.; and Clements, G. The practice of the Transcendental Meditation and TM-Sidhi Programme reverses the physiological ageing process. MERU Research Institute, Mentmore, Buckinghamshire, England, and Department of Biology, University of York, Yorkshire, England, 1982.
Participants in the Transcendental Meditation and TM-Sidhi program were found to have an average biological age which was 7.2 years younger than their average chronological age of 31.8 years. Length of time practicing the Transcendental Meditation and TM-Sidhi program was found to be correlated with reduction in biological age.

Longitudinal reductions in biological age were observed in participants in the Transcendental Meditation and TM-Sidhi program. Over an eighteen-month period, average biological age decreased from 7.5 years younger than chronological age to 10.6 years younger. Duration of practice of the Transcendental Meditation and TM-Sidhi program was correlated with the degree to which both biological and functional ages were younger than chronological age.

- 1989· Research Review· Collected Papers Vol. 3Clements, G.; and Clements, D. M. The Transcendental Meditation and TM-Sidhi Programme and the reversal of ageing. Maharishi European Research University, Seelisberg, Switzerland. Rheinweiler, W. Germany: MERU Press, 1980.
Research findings on the Transcendental Meditation and TM-Sidhi program are reviewed in the context of current knowledge of the aging process and the usual physiological and psychological changes associated with aging. The pattern which emerges is that the Transcendental Meditation and TM-Sidhi program produces a comprehensive set of changes opposite to those usually found with aging and such as to produce a distinct increase in life expectancy. The article concludes by suggesting further avenues of research.
