Hagelin, J. S. Is consciousness the Unified Field? A field theorist’s perspective. Modern Science and Vedic Science 1: 29–87, 1987.
This paper presents an introduction to unified quantum field theories followed by a discussion of theory, research, and subjective experiences from Maharishi's Vedic Science which describes pure consciousness as the fundamental field of nature. It concludes that current physical knowledge and experimental studies of consciousness as a field are consistent with Maharishi's description of pure consciousness as the unified field of all the laws of nature.
