The fundamental principle of Maharishi's Vedic Physiology is that all living systems have their basis in consciousness. This paper describes the expression of consciousness at each level of the physiology, and reviews research identifying the physiological correlates of higher states of consciousness developed through the Transcendental Meditation and TM-Sidhi program.
