Ferguson, R. E. A self-report evaluation of the effects of the Transcendental Meditation Program at Massachusetts Correctional Institution Walpole—a follow-up. Institute for Social Rehabilitation, Pacific Palisades, Los Angeles, California, USA, 1978.
A self-report evaluation undertaken one and a half years after the introduction of the Transcendental Meditation program at MCI Walpole substantiated the value of the program for the development of human potential and the reduction of anxiety, violence, drug abuse, and cigarette smoking. The program received the enthusiastic support of both inmates and staff.
